life notes; flaws and all

a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

We get a morning each day, a marshmallow when we crave, and miracles happen when least expected. There’s not an unlimited supply, but plenty to go around. Take a moment to appreciate each one.

What constitutes a miracle is purely subjective, mornings sometimes come too early, but nonetheless we are treated to a new day. Just like a marshmallow, enjoy each bite.

Look beyond the boundaries of the calendar and the perception of what you taste. Allow yourself time to feel, enjoy, and believe. There are miracles out there if you keep looking.
It may be as simple as kind gesture or smile from a friend or total stranger. Return the favour.

Mornings happen every day; that alone is a miracle.
