life notes; flaws and all

a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

The mind will
allow you
to do anything

Mondays are just young Fridays

In just a few days of warmth
and sunshine, trees abandon
              their winter persona
and greet us
with new growth
                               and colour.
As our surroundings change
so too does our attitude.
Spring has arrived. Life’s cycle
continues, and
                      trees remind us
 amazing things can happen
                   in just a few days.

                           Inspirational.
It makes you wonder what
you can do
in only a few days.
                     What difference
can you bring to this world?
How can you brighten
      your surroundings
                 and the lives
  of those around you?
                 Breathe in, exhale:
lift your face to the sun
    and show us your colours.
