a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Perception

What we see
and how we feel
can’t be determined
by what
we know is real,
or realized
at certain times.
We cannot know
what is always
there, or decide
at once if we should
or shouldn’t care,
yet we must always
have the sense to try
to see the good
in ourselves and
in others. We are
both limited
and liberated
by perception.

beauty is
everywhere you are
you are beauty

believe it
be it
show it
see it
know it

A Day, A Person, And You

What difference can a day make, when
there are many from which to choose?
Every day is full of purpose, and
each day has many moods.

What difference can a person make,
how will you know the one to choose?
Every one of us has a reason, and
we all have much to lose.

What difference alone can you make,
how will you know from many moods?
Every one of us has a purpose,
and a path only you can choose.
