life notes; flaws and all

a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

We need to always be
conscious of the fact
we are continually
changing and,
as we do,
pieces of our self
become scattered
in the breeze.
It
does not mean there
is less of us, or our
beauty is diminished,
it just is
what it is.
The pieces of us
become a part of
something else
somewhere else.

Perhaps it is okay
to be frightened
just a little . . .
