parts of speech, learning
the specific limits of each.
You are a noun,
a person, place, or thing.
Singular, yes, but you can be,
or become, part of
something plural.
Pleasurable indeed, or
it can be, but understand
your capacity for pleasure
is not limited to any specific
person,
place, or thing.

And June has come, as it always does, six
months along, and solstice soon. A swift
transition of time and temperature, the
month of balance holds longer days and
nights less dense, urging condign repose
or moderation. We move further into yet
another year, efficiently making the most
of warm winds and positive vibrations.
Summer advocates familiar moods and
memories. You may occasionally check the
rearview mirror, though June is a greater
opportunity for looking forward. It is not
what is behind you, but what lies ahead.
