a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

As we tear the cellophane off a brand new year, we open ourselves up to possibility and the potential staring us in the face.
  Breathe deeply and take in the fresh scent of 2018. As you exhale, leave the negative thoughts behind. You can only move forward.
  Think not of the resolutions you may have made, or of past commitments to yourself (or others), but consider the promise of the coming year. Where will 2018 take you? Keep looking ahead.
  Hold that thought.
  I wish you the best thoughts for the coming year, and beyond.
