a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

A Little Longer

Perhaps we are too quick to judge,
swiftly forming an opinion without
allowing ourselves time to assess
the true value of a moment, a day,
or a person.
What is the harm in waiting a little
longer or allowing the time to reveal
all that it can, or should?
Live through the day; follow its way.

Beyond Appearances

Our belief system is as much a foundation, as it is façade.
How you act, how you react, how you interact with all that surrounds you, is primarily influenced by what you believe.
Beliefs can prop you up, or you can choose to hide behind them.
Beliefs can change and, when they do, you will feel the shift.
Outwardly you may appear stronger, but the foundation can weaken.
  Change happens beyond appearances.

Should you simply accept
the convenience offered,
you might never know a
deeper taste, greater love,
or the likely truth.
Expect more.
