A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Not Entirely Certain

I’m not going to pretend.
I’m not
              going to object.
I’m not.
I’m not going to participate
in the attempts of someone else
to do something else.
I’m not.
I’m not sure
                      of the results or
ramifications of continuing to do
what I set out to do, and
I’m not entirely certain
             what I am doing
                            some of the time,
but I do what I do,
                 and I do it my way.
I’m not going to follow.
I’m not that kind of person
           and it’s not that kind of day.
