life notes; flaws and all

a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

I am Canadian.
I was born here, raised here,
and have always lived here.
I have a passport that allows
me to travel, pretty much
unrestricted, throughout the
world. I don’t use it enough.
I like it here.
Yes, this country has its flaws
(and I see many of them daily),
but Canadians enjoy a certain
freedom, opportunities, rights
and liberties not available
everywhere.
Canada is a nation of peace.
I like it here.
Today is Canada Day, a national
holiday, and a day to celebrate
what we often take for granted.
We should celebrate every day.
This is our life.
This is our country.
Canada.
I like it here.
I am Canadian.
