a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Some of us
have been broken.

Most of us
are just people.

All of us
need to think about that.

6 Feet Apart

What we all notice is
not the same as what
we all seem to feel.
This fear is near and
the feelings are real,
and we all are going
through this in our
own way. Differently.
Together. Country to
city, place by space,
distance only matters
when you are too close.
Stay safe, 6 feet away,
physically apart and
socially unified. peace

What Was There
Posted on May 14, 2020 by j.g.lewisLeave a comment

We have lost
so much in
these times of
self-isolation.

But what have
we gained
from this time
we have fully
experienced
with ourselves?

Have you taken
the time to go
inside? What
was there to
discover?
