a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Moments hang,
picture on the wall.
A snapshot,
split second of time,
to remind us
what was significant
then. Places, people,
as it was.           Then
and now. Suspended.
We are where we are,
each photograph
revealing the
importance of all
to be seen. For all
it means. A picture
on the wall.

If you doubt yourself
as much as you doubt others
you will not progress

sign of the times

one week in
october is as
october is
a reminder both
of days ahead
and seasons past
often
unseasonably so
rarely what we
are told
rain showers
unleash this cold on
unsuspecting minds
sign of the times
colours remind
