Month: December 2021
What do you remember
about how it used to be?
Aren’t we often
challenged by memory?
Yesterday is not
what it once was.

A new role and new location with the same company, but it is a setting I’ve been absent from for some time.
It’s been a while since I’ve rubbed shoulders with colleagues, and I know it will be different.
Everything is different now than it was a few years back.
We have masks and physical distancing and personal protocols in place that you had to think less about when you were working behind a screen.
This morning I will be back in an office setting. I will be interacting, face-to-face, with people.
This will be an integration process.
Though anxious, I welcome the change; I look forward to some sense of a return to normal.
But how normal will it feel?
COVID-19 has changed the way we live, and the way we work.
I guess today I will see how much…
