a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

full or not

Will half of a full moon count for much
if we look longer?

Luna waxes and wanes, sharing its silence,
or its spirit, in each phase.

Do you ignore all that is not complete?

Will you allow yourself to be sated by
what is not there?

We only see what we believe.

It might only be darkness, though it
may well be more; full or not.

Mondays are just young Fridays

I’m really not sure if I am
ready for the week.
I am even less sure if the
week is ready for me.
A late start, an uncertain
feeling, Im not even sure
which emotions I will be
dealing with.
I’ll expect the unexpected,
and try to put on a smile,
knowing the week will be
done, in just a little while.
