a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

something and everything

The seconds, each night, pass. Digits
of the gas pump mark our debt, fossil
fuel emissions cloud our value.

Cost of living; nothing is something and
everything can be changed. Inflation,
a repetitious claim, again and again.

Life goes on. Each night we save a little
time, a few seconds here, to reflect on
the art that gives us something to see.

as they happen

When given the opportunity, we should simply accept the joy – or state of happiness – we find ourselves in.
Why would we doubt or deny?
Isn’t there already enough misdoubt and distractions?
To question the why or how will disrupt the spontaneity of the feeling, and isn’t it better to allow good things to happen as they happen?
It makes no sense diminishing your emotions.
Let happiness prevail.

It’s what you feel,
or hear; all you
touch and see.

All that you
come to know.

Tactile,
experiential;
even reverential.

Sensations.

Every movement.

Each moment,
will imprint
on the soul.

If you allow it.
