a decade of days…

2025 is an anthology of thoughts du jour, unsolicited advice, messages of peace, philosophy, poetry, and photographs from the past decade of Mythos & Marginalia. In unchronological order, the years not as important as the dates, each post a reminder (if only to myself) that I do indeed write every damn day.

the moon is there
it is always there
different each time
you look
you stare
i don’t know where
you are
or if you looked up
like before
but I hope
last night
a little moonlight
slipped under
your door

Searching for reasons.
      Why?
             When?
It is not finding the time,
    but finding
        the space. Physically,
emotionally beyond a trace
of the humanity you know
is there and has been
all along.
       Still you search.

stillness

unnecessarily understated
naturally

listen

it knows

how thought is quenched
as if a thirst

sit by the water

you will
you know

self-expression

Verbally or non-verbally, regardless of method, media or motivation, expression or self-expression is an important component of who you are and how you react to and interact with the world surrounding you.
There are many ways of giving notice or getting noticed.
It matters not how you express yourself, only that you do.
