a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

“A flower blossoms for its own joy.”
                                                  ― Oscar Wilde

Be grateful for those people
who blossom before us, sharing
their beauty, rain or shine.
Like flowers, they add colour to
our world and make life a little
more bearable.

        we live with
                     what we accept
        we deal with
                      what we cannot
        or we try
             we accommodate
                        and change
        as we can
   when we can
        knowing
        everything we accept
        will change

that is the nature of acceptance
         and the purpose of change
