a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

night thoughts 3:14

It is darker now, and will
will grow colder still before
you know. It is not even
winter, not even close to
to morning or to Monday.
Both the weird and the
wise are wide-awake and
wondering at 3:14 a.m.
Your only concern, besides
getting more sleep, should
be deciding which you are.
Waiting any longer is not
a particularly good option.

 Every day is practice
   for something larger,
           or more
                       specific.
  We go about the hours
  uncertain of anything,
      except the fact
             we are here.
       It is as temporary
      as it is purposeful.
         Learn as you go.
