a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

     Open mind,
 eyes blind to what
is before us.

If we can look past
all we know or see,
    is it possible
 to think past
     what we believe?

  What lies ahead?
      What will be?

We never know exactly where we are going — every adventure is bound to have a few surprises — yet our direction should always be forward.
You can never go back and find what was there, so why waste the time?
Everything is ahead of you.
Pack lightly, but take what you need. Take your time. Enjoy the scenery and never lose the wonder that keeps you moving forward.

What are you waiting for?
What has patience taught you?
What have you learned from
the years? What time is it?
