a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Twilight Feels Right

twilight

Is it the night
that brings the comfort,
or the memories of the day?
Does twilight
allow sufficient time
to put issues into place?
Can the quiet of the darkness
keep the mind
from settling down?
Will remembrances,
as they come to you,
bring your mood around?

maybe

Maybe I
am the way
I’m supposed to be?
Perhaps,
in spite of the changes,
this is
my reality?
Maybe all you learn,
and
what you hide, and
all the stuff
you feel inside, is
as organic as it can be,
and
when all is said and done,
I am really me.

Art is forever.

Write it, play it, act it out. Paint it,
Sculpt it, put your self into it.
Don’t worry about perfection, that’s
thinking too much; let your mind go
where it needs to be. It may be now,
but it can be eternity. Only you know
where it could be, or what you can see.
Show it, know it.

Art is there; everywhere.
