life notes; flaws and all

a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Indelible

It’s not always pretty, or perfect, or profound, yet each time your pencil graces the page, it leaves a mark.
You leave behind a little bit of yourself.
Thoughts are indelible; images are permanent, though the pencil is not.
Even if erased, memories and moments, or meanings remain, even if only in your mind.
Don’t be afraid of tarnishing the page. Let out what is inside. Be proud of what you feel and what you want to show in the moment.
Make a mark.
