a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Pay Attention

In the details of the everyday,
the ordinary, and the certain,
you will find possibilities.
Keep watching, pay attention
as the world changes around you,
like the seasons.

Wonder

What would a day be like
without wonder? Can you
imagine not imagining,
and letting common sense
dictate your senses?
To stop questioning,
cease listening or feeling;
to stop looking, or to
not notice, is to simply
take the world for granted,
or worse.
Embrace your curiosity.
Never lose the wonder that
keeps moving you forward.

Already

The moon should
take up less space
so the sun
is allowed to create
evening shadows
a little longer.

We need more
time.
Heat. Substance.
Is summer ever
what it is
meant to be?

How can we
not want more?
Time.
Light. Colour.
Warmth.
We need more.

What?

September?
Already?
