a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Nothing to say. Not today.
Some days there is nothing.
It’s not that
there are not thoughts
flowing through your mind,
but words remain
unformed or unrefined.
You need time.
Silence takes time.
It’s okay,
there will be others days
with more to say,
but silence has a place.
Especially today.

Music Heals

Whatever your mood, music will
often inspire, comfort, or calm.
A certain song, or album, can
distract you from the emotional
turmoil or strife in your life.
Music helps, and music heals,
music addresses how you feel.

As Sure As Today

What are you putting off
until the time is right?

Tomorrow is coming
as sure as today arrived.

Why are you waiting?
