life notes; flaws and all

a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

What Belongs To You

Take all the time you need.
Use the space as your own.
Breathe. Believe. Receive.
This is where you are, this
is where you belong, for as
long as you want.
Use this apace and time to
find out what belongs to you.
Claim what is yours.
Don’t let all the other stuff
get in the way.

Mondays are just young Fridays

At dawn,
let’s not forget
what was said, what was planned,
what was dreamed, or
who we are.
The night has a way
of stirring emotions, and
leaving out details,
the spirit only knows.

At dusk,
let’s not forget
what was said, what was not,
what was ignored, or
where we were.
The day has a way
of repeating the same mistakes
in details only
the spirit knows.

Within Your World

Change happens, regardless of whether we want it or not.
How we view change varies as we overlook yesterday and become more enlightened by today.
When does this happen, or when do you realize that any changes which benefit the self, all come from within your world.
 Recognize your own wisdom.
