a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Willpower:
it’s more than faith,
it is more than hope.
When you’ve exhausted
all possibilities
and potential,
you, your self, will
see it through.

No Better Time

We know where we are,
right now.
Now.
You can’t put it off, or
ignore it, it just happens.
Of course, there may be
future opportunities, but
you need to know there is
no better time to begin
that project, pick up where
you once left off, make
that overdue apology, or
believe in yourself.
Now.
Why wait for later, when
you can do it now.
Do it.

Expect More

In any situation, the administration, powers-that-be, leaders or elected officials all have an agenda. No matter how you look at it, they want what they want, specifically.
You deserve more.
Be a part of the dialogue; create a discussion.
Everybody gains when options, and understandings, are explored.
If you accept what is offered, you deny yourself alternatives.
Question authority.
Expect more.
Seek answers. Question questions. Challenge explanations and expectations.
If something can’t be explained logically, there are fundamental flaws. There are more than two sides to an issue, make your own point.
Stand up for your rights, think of the greater good. Make yourself understood.
