a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Where will
you go today?

In Plain Sight

Make a list of your weaknesses,
fears, anxiety triggers, and the
complications you deal with on
on a regular basis.
Add to the list as required.
Keep the list handy.
Even if you can’t find a solution,
or resolution, to all that holds you
back, it is far better to keep issues
in plain sight, rather than have
them rolling around in your head
randomly or unaccounted for.
Be accountable to your self.
Know what you are up against.

Today Anyway

Rain, again.
Today.
I was expecting
something more,
something
different;
something
other than rain.
They promised
more, sunshine
and the like,
but today
had other plans.
I suppose we
have to accept
what is before us.
Today,
anyway.
