other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.

Patiently we wait,
we seem to have time.
Six feet apart, mostly,
we no longer mind.
Physically distanced,
the longer the line.
We are all waiting
in line for assistance
or groceries at the store,
for things we once
didn’t think needed
to be waited for.
