a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

A Dangerous Descent

The health crisis we continue to suffer through is at
best inconsistent, and at worst a dangerous descent
into a system systematically infected by political
opportunists and fully-fledged false charm.

not the only one

I am most certain I am not the only one who feels this blame… or is it shame?
I continue looking for answers, but keep coming up with further questions.
   Is that right?
   Is it proper?
Does it make a difference if I try to correct the facts? Or right the wrongs?
   Can I even see?
   Can we?

Mondays are just young Fridays

If we write a little more will we finally see the pint we are trying to make?
Will we uncover the truth hidden by our emotions, or will our true feelings be blocked by the need to wholly express ourselves? It can happen.
   We struggle with words.
We fumble with our thoughts, raw and on the page before us, and we cannot make any sense of what we want to say.
Our journals are full of thoughts, pages, stanzas, lines, and words. Some have been erased, some are illegible.
   It gets messy.
Still, we want to write our way out of this mess.
