a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Unattended fear will disturb and destruct, wreak havoc on your emotional well-being, and leave you restless and resentful.
Don’t let your fears guide you.
Address those concerns and get on with that wonderful life.
You are the potential.

when again

It is only a matter of time, and time
does what it does (in its own way).
Is time the product of the hours or
a day (or the other way around)?
What is today anyway? Tomorrow
was yesterday, or it will be in time
(give it a day or two), you will see
how history repeats itself. The now
will become when again and again.

Day after day it follows or precedes
the night, or day by day we get by
(a day at a time). Yesterday was
tomorrow at one time, days ago,
when the day may not have seemed
like it would ever come, or ever end
(some days are like that; today might be).
