a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Language: diction, dialect, pronunciation, enunciation, attitude and awareness, often impedes communication.
Speech is not always simple; the meanings of things and recognition of such often compounds the difficulties of speaking freely, or even telling the truth.
Pay less attention the words and focus more on what they are worth.
Freedom of speech does come with a cost.

Sentence by sentence, we write our stories.
A narrative is created one line at a time.
Be truthful.

doing it write

Whatever the occasion, communication flows in many directions.
February is International Correspondence Writing Month, an opportunity to take the tradition of pen, pencil, and paper, and send a letter (or three).
   It’s all about expression.
A letter sent to a family member or friend, is sure to surprise.
Less and less do we address our thoughts, ideas, and feelings in a letter.
Yes, emails are quick and easy, but are we really saying what we need to say? Electronic communication is so everyday. Say something special in a more tangible way.
