a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

“There’s so much labour
  just in breathing lately.”

Unexpected words of
encouragement and appreciation,
from total strangers,
make me realize
I do not show kindness enough. They remind me
now
is a good time to start.

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

It’s never just
 another day . . .
but it is today, all day.
