life notes; flaws and all

a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Writing Poetry

Absurdity or reality: can
it not be one in the same?
Honestly.

                        It is poetry,
as simple or as elaborate
as it may be.

Emotions or messages
blurred across the page.
Accurate.
                        Insightful.
Heartfelt: if you believe.

If you look,
you will see         poetry.

It is honesty.

Maybe today we need a little more time? The bed is warm and it’s a bit too early to decide.
The weekend was appreciated, but not quite long enough (they never are), and just another day of rest and relaxation would be so meaningful.
In and amongst all the excuses that you make, give yourself permission to take a little break.
You’ll be a better person for it.

Don’t we all need
to know more.
Deeper knowledge
will require
greater thought.

Think about it.
