a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

You Need It

You might have to wait,
and the delay might be
difficult.
You may not know exactly
what it is until it presents
itself and, even then, it will
not be all you are expecting.
But it is what is needed.
It is what it is.
You get what you need
when you need it.
What do you need today?

night thoughts 4:18

A penny for your thoughts;
for good ones, I offer a nickel.
Sound advice is often fleeting.
Fate is oh so fickle.
Plans are made, without true
consideration, at 4:18 in the
morning. Promises made
through the silence of the
night, expire without a warning.

Too many words will confuse,
    even cover up, emotion.
       When less is said, more
can be derived from
             what was meant.
  The implications
are not obvious, yet the essence
      will remain.
  There is plenty to remember.
