life notes; flaws and all

a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

It might not be your smile, for
some days there is less to smile
about, but within you there is
experience, and wisdom;
lessons learned from a lifetime
of moments and memories.
It is within you.
Let it out.
Perhaps it’s just your being,
and being there brightens
the room with all that you are.
Let people know, and see,
what you are all about.
Their lives will be brightened
by the mere fact you are there,
and by what you bring into
the room.
Your life will be enhanced by
what is reflected back, and
your room will become brighter.
Just by being there.

“Time is too slow for those who
wait, too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice,
but for those who love,
time is eternity.”
