a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

“We do not believe in ourselves
until someone reveals that deep
inside us something is valuable,
worth listening to, worthy of
our trust, sacred to our touch.
Once we believe in ourselves
we can risk curiosity, wonder,
spontaneous delight or
any experience
that reveals the human spirit.”

                          If you were to
look out my window, would you see
the same beauty I can see,
would you know what it could be?
                   Will you see it differently?
