Month: September 2019
There was an election call this week, and Canadians will be going to the polls on October 21. Between now and then, politicians and parties will be doing what they can to earn your vote. Over the next month, you can expect to hear a lot of things we’ve heard before, a lot of things that will never happen, and too many things that do not make sense. Ask questions when you can; demand answers as you should. Remind every politician, every chance you get, that they are working for you. They tend to forget, once they are elected.

intend
to go about your day?
Will time-tested
habits
show the old ways,
or will you
allow your self
a little more faith?
A fresh breath
for another day.

to be fooled by the stars,
or become
confused in the night.
Daybreak arrives
and distractions of
bright-sized light.
Everything, today,
will not be
what it seems, yet
you cannot replace
sincerity.
