a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Do something
with your time.
Do something
with your life.
You’ve come
too far not to
make the best
of it.
Do something.
Do anything.

Not all pencils have erasers.
Not all pencils need erasers.
When you write, even misspelled words or misdirected thoughts are important; they are not indelible and can’t simply be erased.
Immediate thoughts. The words you chose all have a purpose, even (or especially) the ones you want to remove from the page. Those words are the most honest, even if they are not appropriate. It’s when you doubt your words that you know you need to push further.
Expression is not always easy.
Some sentiments can’t be taken back.
Choose your words carefully.
Write on.

If you do nothing,
you get nothing
in return.
