Month: November 2019
Errs of our days,
make a difference,
force a distance. Always.
Little is said, less
is done in the moment.
It simply happens.
You live with it, or the
ramifications.
Errors. Then excuses.
When you realize
you’ve made
a mistake,
little can be done
to correct what
has happened.
How do you live with it?
How do you know?

Lest We Forget
“We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.”
-John McCrae

Remember
Sesame Street has been teaching kids how to learn, how to love, and how to live for 50 years today.
That’s pretty amazing, especially when you consider the hundreds, even thousands, of television shows that have come and gone over the same time frame.
With its gentle approach mixing education with humour, repetition, animation and real live human beings with Muppets, the American public television show has been entertaining and educating generations of children and adults by introducing issues alongside the alphabet. The show successfully dealt with a child’s short attention span, and it still is.
Quality lasts.
